Morris' Tech move impacts Cougs' recruiting

ASSISTANT COACH Eric Morris is leaving Washington State to join Texas Tech, according to multiple reports. Beyond the Xs and Os of replacing the Cougs' inside receivers coach, how does his departure impact recruiting?

Unlike Jeff Choate who left for the DC job at UTEP, Morris was more involved with a greater number of names on the WSU commit list. Morris was widely considered one of the most effective recruiters on Mike Leach's staff. Among Morris' recruiting areas were the California Inland Empire, Arizona and Dallas.
