Darryl Richardson, the 6-5, 230-pound athlete from Seffner (Fla.) Armwood, will visit UCLA officially on the weekend of December 15th.

Richardson has been offered by the likes of Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri and South Florida as a quarterback.

However, UCLA has been recruiting Richardson as an "athlete." In watching the clips from a 7-on-7 last summer below, his potential as a receiver/tight end is very evident.'s Jamie Newberg wrote about Richardson earlier in the high school season: Seffner (Fla.) Armwood high school has a huge signal caller in Darryl Richardson (6-5/230). This kid has good mobility and a very big arm. Richardson can move around in the pocket, extend plays with his feet and do damage to the defense by rushing the football. Richardson is a load to bring down in the open field because of his size. It’s like trying to tackle a tight end. He’s strong and powerful and has pretty good speed. As a passer Richardson has to become more consistent with his throws, work on his accuracy and decision making, if he hopes to play this position in college. There’s no question he has the size and arm but he has to put it all together. Having said that I believe that this kid is a terrific athlete that may be better suited to moving to tight end in college.

In the video, he's lining up as a receiver, except for the second to last clip, when he's at quarterback.
