NFL Cougar Highlights: Week 12
The Cougar great originally signed with New York on Oct. 3 and caught a touchdown pass in his second game. However, the six-year veteran became expendable when the Jets activated receiver Clyde Gates from the disabled list. He was cut on Oct. 27, but re-signed on Nov. 6.
In all he appeared in three games for the Jets, catching two passes for 15 yards and one TD.
A third round draft pick by San Francisco in 2007, Hill started 10 games for Jacksonville last season—making 25 receptions and scoring three touchdowns—but was waived by the club late in the season despite leading all Jaguar receivers in yards-per-catch and touchdown catches. He was signed by Denver last spring, but was a late preseason cut.

Erik Coleman, S, Detroit, 9th season: The Spokane native posted seven tackles (3 solo) in the Lions' 34-31 Thanksgiving day loss to Houston.
Jed Collins, FB, New Orleans, 4th season: Caught two passes for 9 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' 31-21 loss to San Francisco.
Eric Frampton, S, Dallas, 6th season: Assisted on one special teams tackles in the Cowboys' 38-31 Thanksgiving day loss to Washington.
Brandon Gibson, WR, St. Louis, 4th season: Targeted just three times, the Puyallup native caught no passes in the Rams' 31-17 win against Arizona.
Jason Hanson, K, Detroit, 21st season: The Spokane native missed a game-winning field goal attempt in overtime, as the Lions' fell to Houston, 34-31, on Thanksgiving. Hanson was true on four extra-point attempts and a 46-yard field goal.
Jerome Harrison, RB, Detroit, 7th season: Did not play; officially listed on the Lions' reserve/non-football injury list.If you missed the special The NFL Today (CBS) aired on Harrison's road to recovery, you can view it here.
Jason Hill, WR, New York Jets, 6th season:Did not play; cut from the roster on Tuesday.
Chris Ivory, RB, New Orleans, 3rd season: Carried the ball eight times for 34 yards in the Saints' loss to the 49ers.
Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo, 13th season: The Vancouver native native was perfect on two field goal attempts (long of 33) and one extra-point in the Bills' 20-13 loss to the counterfeit Colts.
Ropati Pitoitua, DE, Kansas City, 4th season: The Tacoma native tallied one solo stop in the Chiefs'17-9 loss to Denver.
Marcus Trufant, DB, Seattle, 10th season: The Tacoma native posted one solo tackle in the Seahawks' 24-21 loss to Miami.
Zack Williams, G, Carolina, 2nd season: Did not play; assigned to Panthers' practice squad.
