PULLMAN - WSU basketball coach Ken Bone sat down with CF.C earlier this week for a wide-ranging interview fresh off the Cougs' five-game, two-week Australian tour. Among the topics discussed: the state of the program entering his fourth year in Pullman, a new walk-on, a former walk-on again placed on scholie, WSU recruiting, newcomers who could have an immediate impact this season and more.

But first, what happened Down Under? The Cougars finished their tour 2-3, dropping their final three games after two wins against teams from Australia's top professional leagues. Senior Brock Motum highlighted the trip with a 41-point scoring exhibition in WSU's 86-81 loss to the Skytrans Cairns Taipans.
