THE UNCERTAINTY hanging over the University of Washington with the Rick Neuheisel affair may prove advantageous for both Washington State and Nebraska. Casey Bulyca, a 6-6, 290-pound offensive lineman from Woodinville who gave the hometown Huskies an early verbal commitment, says he might rethink his college plans if the NCAA passes down sanctions and/or Keith Gilbertson isn't named UW head coach.
