Newport athlete w/ Cougar ties impressed


HE'S NO STRANGER to Pullman, having visited the Washington State campus at least four times. This past weekend, multi-purpose Isaac Dotson out of Bellevue was again out on the Palouse. This time it was for the Cougars' junior day event -- where he met Mike Leach and came away impressed.

Isaac Dotson (6-3, 200) plays quarterback at Newport (1,005 yards passing, 709 yards rushing, 20 TDs as a junior) but his best position at the college level may lie at receiver, defensive back or running back.
