Lobbestael just wants to take his shot

PULLMAN — Pro Day is set for March 9 out on the Palouse with senior Cougars ready to impress NFL scouts. Among those working hard in preparation is a QB whose team first mentality won him legions of fans over his 5-year WSU career. He's finishing up classes, but his focus is squarely on overcoming the long odds of playing pro ball. Because for Marshall Lobbestael, all he wants is to take a shot.

Lobbestael said he's open to playing elsewhere, such as the Canadian Football League or Arena League, but for now he's ready to put all his bread in one basket to try and land a job in the NFL.
