CougfanTV: Up close w/ the QBs, Mitz & Deone

PULLMAN -- The Cougfan.com video camera caught a ton of footage over the weekend of Jeff Tuel, Marshall Lobbestael, Connor Halliday, Cody Clements and David Gilbertson throwing the ball. We also grabbed some general practice footage, and focused in a bit on running back Logwone Mitz and safety Deone Bucannon, both of whom also took time to talk with us after practice.

This first clip, which runs about 7 minutes, includes 2-plus minutes of conversation with Mitz that starts at the 4:40 mark. He talks about the mood of the camp, competition at running back and more. The practice footage that precedes the interview includes a blocking drill and lots of quarterback throwing drills. here's the interview...



The second clip runs about 3 1/2 minutes. It starts with various drills and then moves to an up-close look at Deone Bucannon in 11-on-11 action. The interview with Bucannon starts at the 2:23 mark. He says there's more energy in this camp than in year's past, and notes that the competition in the secondary is stiff. He also says Jeff Tuel is looking like a beast. Here's the clip..
