WSU Quarterback

PULLMAN -- This summer is flying by. We finished this week out strong and are ready to crank it up a notch. And the last week of our voluntary workouts, it's just around the corner.

On to the questions...

Lizcoug: ...Who is really going to step up from your Senior Class?
Thank you for your kind words! From our senior class I feel like each of us has the potential to step up if needed. Looking at the names of the senior class I’m excited to see what we can do in our last season at WSU because every guy has given a lot for the Cougs and we can all help the team win. Of course the guys in starting roles will make a huge impact, but I think having Gonzo (David Gonzales) back and healthy is really going to create some competition at the tackle spot and have a great effect for the offense. Naturally with my faith in the O-line, I would have to say that the seniors in that position group are going to step up and be the driving force behind the offense’s successes this year.

SheriffCoug: How are the Tight Ends doing?
The tight ends are doing well. Andrei Lintz is a physical specimen, Aaron Dunn is more comfortable with the offense and is looking good. Gordy Anderson is also making a smooth transition to TE and is showing some good ball skills on the practice field so far. Max Hersey has been working hard in in the weight room and although he’s still learning the offense, he will be a load coming off the ball. Mansel Simmons is listed at TE, but he's versatile, very athletic and has great hands so it will be interesting to see where he ends up playing.

radninjaskills Who's your favorite QB of all times?
I have a tough time with top picks, so my top-4, not in any particular order, are Jack Thompson, Matt Hasselbeck, Brett Favre and Kenny Stabler.

Who's the biggest ladies man on the team?
This might come as a surprise to everyone, but the biggest ladies man on the team, hands down, is Big Joe Kaleta!

Thanks for the questions, there were some great ones this week! Keep them coming for next week on the CF.C message boards, it will be my last player diary!

Go Cougs!
