Sizing up Wazzu's running back recruiting

AN INTERESTING TRIO IN WSU ORBIT

WITH THE SPOKANE grapevine growing increasingly louder that Bishop Sankey ultimately will choose lavender and gold come Signing Day, Cougfan.com looks at a trio of other running back prospects whose game tape, résumés, and speed suggest they might look good in crimson and gray. Each of the three is, or believed to be, seriously in the Cougar orbit.

MARCUS MASON (5-8, 175), Etiwanda, Calif. He shows up well on film. His prep coach sent his tape to WSU earlier this month (before Sankey's official visit to WSU), and the Cougs responded by extending an offer, according to the Daily Bulletin in Ontario.
